Leigh Court Woods

Honouring the Ancestors

Friday 1st Nov is the ‘Day of the Dead’ or All Saint’s Day, a chance to honour all those that have come before us. To celebrate, we are holding our first night time retreat in Leigh Court Woods from 6-9pm. If you fancy sharing some delicious vegan food round the campfire before honouring the ancestors through our practice, then please do come along!

Nature meditation retreats are suitable for anyone with basic meditation experience. We will start by sharing a vegan meal, then after a brief orientation around the theme, we sit for about 30-40 minutes before guided nature meditations based on the theme. The session closes by sharing our reflections.

This retreat will take place from 6-9 pm in a private, eight-acre woodland located near Abbot’s Leigh just outside Bristol. Rain is not a problem as many areas are covered by parachutes. There are compost toilets.

Please bring a vegan dish to share. And a torch!

To get there, we arrange lift shares or you can cycle or walk. The contribution for woods hire is £7 with full and partial bursaries available. Please ask if needed. To book a place and for further details, contact Lesley at rewildingmeditation@gmail.com.
