Befriending Ourselves and the World
A Bristol Insight Retreat Day with Julia Wallond
Saturday 16th July, 9.30AM-5.00PM
On this day retreat we will explore together the quality of the heart called ‘metta’ in the Buddhist suttas, sometimes translated as befriending or goodwill. We will be encouraged to dive below our ideas of how we ‘should be’, to explore powerful ways of cultivating wellbeing and healing for ourselves and the world.
All are welcome.
Julia Wallond
Meditation has been a central part of my life for over 15 years. Along the way I trained as a Community Dharma Leader with Gaia House, and I am currently part of the Bodhi College teacher training programme. Bristol Insight is dear to my heart as I was a regular group member for years and a trustee. I am looking forward to coming back for the daylongs from my new rural home in West Wales.
Venue: Glenfrome Primary School, Bristol, BS5 6TY
