Nature meditation: Sunday 18th April 3-6pm

Would you like to meditate round the fire with others? Interested in practising in a beautiful outdoor setting? Despite the winter weather, a keen group of Bristol Insight Meditation practitioners are meeting monthly in nearby woods – and loving it!

We carry out sitting, walking and nature-based practices for about 3 hours in some really special woods about 6 miles from Bristol. Even better, the woods have several large covered areas, so the event will go ahead regardless of the weather. The facilities also include easy car parking and even a compost loo! You will need to bring water, whatever you need to practice (e.g. stool, blanket), something comfortable to sit on and wear appropriate clothing and shoes.

It is with much delight that we announce a nature meditation date for Sunday 18th April from 3-6pm in woods near Abbotts Leigh. The format will be 40 minutes of sitting practice, 40 minutes of personal practice and 40 minutes of nature meditation with a break for tea and hopefully some flapjack.
We will organise ourselves into groups of 6 to comply with government guidelines and maintain the 2 metre rule in our circles. Given that it might be quite chilly in April, there will also be wood for a fire. If it rains, there are many circles protected by parachute awnings that we can shelter under. The cost will be £7 per person. Please get in touch with Lesley on if you want a place.
