Kelston Round Hill

Sangha Walk – North Stoke & Kelston Round Hill
Saturday 3rd February 2024

This 3-4 mile walk starts from the picturesque village of North Stoke between Bitton and Kelston on the A431 from Bristol to Bath. Taking a footpath behind the church we head uphill to join The Cotswold Way and then head south towards Kelston Round Hill, taking in the fantastic view at Prospect Stile. After the gentle ascent of the Round Hill we head westwards down towards Kelston and to the Bath Soft Cheese Cafe for lunch (or bring your own lunch and eat it outside). After lunch we will head northwards towards the River Avon, before continuing on the road back to North Stoke.
Family, friends, children and dogs are welcome on the walk, part of which will be in silence.

Meet at St Andrews Park at 10.30am (entrance near toilets at top of Melita Rd) or by the church in North Stoke at 11am. Walking time will be around 2-3 hours at a gentle pace.

Let me know by the morning of the day before the walk if you’d like to join the walk, where you would like to meet, and whether you would like or can offer a lift from Bristol.
