Writing in the Woods – part 2!

Sunday 24 March 3-6 pm

Back by popular demand, Michael Gregg is offering another opportunity to practice meditation and writing in the woods. Michael says:

Writing is a way of taking us deeper into our own experience. Each of us is unique and we all have our own ways of expressing this. We will sit in the woods, connecting with the natural world and our relationship with it, tuning in with all of our senses. When we do this our own natural creativity can show up. There will be a series of guided activities to help. There will be opportunities to share and reflect on the process and on the words.

This is not about producing perfect pieces of writing, more about expressing whatever comes up in the moment. There is no right or wrong way. Writers and non-writers welcome! Please bring notepads and pens/pencils.

This retreat will take place from 3-6 pm in a private, eight-acre woodland located near Abbot’s Leigh just outside Bristol. Rain is not a problem as many areas are covered by parachutes. There are compost toilets.

To get there, we arrange lift shares or you can cycle or walk. The contribution for woods hire is £7 with full and partial bursaries available. Please ask if needed. To book a place and for further details, contact Lesley at rewildingmeditation@gmail.com.
