Sanga walks are an opportunity to socialise with other sangha members, ground ourselves in our natural environment, take gentle exercise and to practice mindful walking.
Sangha walks are currently being arranged in the area in and around Bristol on an ad hoc basis, on a Saturday or Sunday. Walks are generally 4–6 miles and walked at a gentle pace. Part of the walk is done in mindful silence. For up to date information on forthcoming walks please keep your eye on the forthcoming events page of our website or our monthly newsletter.
If you are attending a sangha walk, please dress with the weather in mind, e.g. waterproofs, sturdy shoes/boots, hat and gloves when cold or sun hats when warm. You may want sunscreen for hot days. Bringing your own water and snacks may be helpful.
Please check for ticks when you get home. There may be mosquitoes or midges in hot weather. Trip hazards may also be present.
Children are welcome under the care of their parents or guardians.
We would very much welcome proposals for walks. If you would like to offer a walk please send your proposal to Bristol Insight
