Bath skyline

The next Bristol Insight Sangha Walk will be the Bath Skyline Walk, led by Lee Coombes, on Sunday 22nd September.

“Only a short stroll from the city centre, enter another world, onto the skyline hills above Bath and beyond, through 6 miles of meadows and ancient woodlands to secluded valleys.”

The walk is about 6 miles and should take about 4 hours at a gentle pace. We will stop for a lunch break about halfway – bring a picnic lunch with you.

For a full description of the walk, with map, see https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/bath-skyline/trails/bath-skyline-walk

Meet at St Andrews Park (entrance by the park toilets on Melita Road) at 10am to share lifts, or at Bath Deep Lock (Pulteney Road, BA2 4FA – at the start of the canal) at 10.45am.
Sunday parking is apparently possible on Pulteney Road and Widcombe Hill.
There is also a 10.24am train from Temple Meads Station that arrives in Bath at 10.35. Bath Deep lock is less than 10 minutes walk from the station.

Friends, family, children and dogs are welcome on the walk, part of which (no more than an hour) will be in silence.

Please let Gordon know if you plan to come on the walk and whether you can offer or need a lift from Bristol.  0779 6087351 gordonadam@blueyonder.co.uk
