The next walk will be a joint walk with Bristol and Frome Insight Meditation groups on Sunday 2nd December at 11am.
Becky Lovegrove will lead a gentle 2–3hr woodland walk around Gare Hill, a few miles south of Frome. Gare Hill is a tract of ancient woodland which once formed part of a natural barrier between Wessex and the rest of England. This fairly easy-going circular walk begins at Gare Hill, around 6 miles south of Frome and will take 2- 3 hours at a gentle pace, mostly on forestry tracks and byways. We will follow the walk with an optional pub lunch at The Fox in Tytherington, a few miles from Gare Hill.
Frome’s artisan market is on the same day so the town will be closed to traffic.
Friends, family members, children and dogs are welcome. Part of the walk will be in silence.
Meet at St Andrews Park at 9.30am, Becky’s place at 10.30am, or at the start of the walk at 11am. Some lifts to Frome available and if you can also give a lift please get in touch.
